Support. Community. Mom-to-Mom.

With our Strong Mamas, Thriving Babies program, every mama who gives birth at one of our participating hospitals benefits from a one-on-one visit with a program director who introduces our program, answers any questions or concerns she may have, and gets her registered with the Strong Mamas app for program information, updates, and connecting with other Strong Mamas.

One-On-One Visits

Every mama who gives birth benefits from a one-on-one visit with a program director who introduces our program, answers any questions or concerns she may have, and gets her registered with the Strong Mamas app for program information, updates, and connecting with other Strong Mamas.

In-Person Gatherings

Mamas are invited back to the hospital where they gave birth to connect with other Strong Mamas who are in the same phase of mamahood. This part of the program supports creating connections and bonds that we believe every mama needs.  Community experts are also invited to these gatherings to share resources for their motherhood journey.

Personal Check-ins

Every mama is offered phone calls throughout the first year postpartum. She will have the opportunity to chat with someone about how mamahood is going and any support or resources she may need. We believe mamas need more support, and our program ensures every mama is offered just that.

App For Mamas

Every mama in our program is able to download and use the Strong Mamas app. With the app, she can gain access to valuable program information & updates, stay up to date on events & gatherings, connect with other Strong Mamas, and reach out for direct support from the YANA team.

Hear from our Mamas

"This was my first time attending, and I am so excited to connect other moms in similar stages of parenting. Hearing others share birth stories and wins/challenges is so interesting and made me feel less isolating. "
"I loved meeting a group of moms who are in a similar phase of life as me and sharing experiences, celebrating wins and expressing challenges. It was nice being able to relate! "
"It’s nice to have a place to talk about our challenges and get advice from other people who have had the same challenge. It makes you feel normal and most importantly you feel seen."

It takes financial resources to support our programs. Consider giving. Any amount you donate can make a difference in a mama’s or a child’s life!
