Children’s Hospital Colorado: Audiology Services

We provide children, their families and referring providers access to the most current knowledge and advancements in the fields of audiology (hearing), speech, language, feeding, swallowing, communication and learning. Our team of specialists works closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each child’s communication, development and learning needs are fully evaluated and adequately addressed. Together, we provide support and a circle of family-centered care unmatched in the Rocky Mountain-Great Plains region.

Autism Society Colorado

The Autism Society of Colorado"s online peer support group is a welcoming space for individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and partners, friends, coworkers, and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and find support. Through virtual meetings, participants can engage in open discussions, exchange advice, and build a sense of community with others who understand their journey. We recognize that connections can happen both online and in person, and while our groups are virtual, some participants may choose to continue connections outside of ASC peer groups in ways that feel safe and comfortable for them. Moderated by peer-led facilitators, our groups are designed to be inclusive, respectful, and supportive– where participants are encouraged to explore challenges, communicate together, celebrate successes, and share helpful resources in a space that prioritizes understanding and accessibility.

Nurturing Newborns Respite Care

Nurturing Newborns, LLC currently has 18 respite care providers that work in the homes of families caring for an infant or toddler with delays, disabilities, serious illness, or complications of prematurity. They provide part-time support for parents and caregivers so that they can pause, practice self-care, and seek mental health support.

Night Lights

Night Lights is a non-profit organization providing free, monthly, inclusive respite care for children with special needs and their siblings (ages 1 month to 13 years). Operating in multiple cities across the state, it offers safe, volunteer-staffed, and nurse-supported evenings (6:30–10 PM) for children, allowing parents a needed break. Because the safety of the children is paramount, we run nationwide background checks on staff and volunteers and require families to fill out annual paperwork.
