We also offer tips on the various types of programs, how to choose quality child care, early childhood development, and resources for families. Colorado Shines is the state’s quality rating and improvement system (QRIS). We rate Colorado’s child care programs and help them improve the quality of the services they provide. This website allows you to search for quality child care programs. You can also see information such as location, hours, licensing history, monitoring reports, and the Colorado Shines quality rating.
