MSU LGBTQ Student Resource Center

The LGBTQ Student Resource Center is a tri-institutional office on the Auraria Campus serving the students, faculty and staff of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Community College of Denver and University of Colorado Denver. We are available to all Auraria students as a resource for exploring issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR)

As a people-of-color led organization, COLOR works to advance reproductive justice for all Coloradans. COLOR’s approach centers on intersectionality with the knowledge that no person leads a single issue life. We challenge all barriers keeping communities from leading successful, self-determined lives by furthering environmental justice, economic justice, racial justice, immigrant rights, LGBTQIA+ liberation and more. The Empowerment Program

The Empowerment Program is a Denver-based nonprofit that removes barriers to health, housing, education, and employment so individuals can live a healthier life. Since 1986, we have worked alongside our participants, primarily cis and transgender women who have lived experiences with the criminal legal system and/or homelessness, to connect them with the services they need to achieve their goals. Since our founding, we’ve redefined “Empowerment” as a form of collective action.
