Non-emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) by Health First Colorado

Non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) is transportation to and from medically necessary services covered by Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) for members who have no other means of transportation, including free transportation. NEMT can only be utilized to access non-emergency services. NEMT also covers personal vehicle mileage reimbursement, air, train or out-of-state travel.
