Elbert County Coalition Outreach (ECCO)

Anyone in a crisis situation qualifies for ECCO’s help. On a day-to-day basis, ECCO assists low-income residents in a number of ways. Through the storefront, ECCO provides clothing, shoes, household goods, etc. at low or no cost depending on the situation or need. Sales to every day shoppers looking for great deals provides ECCO with retail income that further helps the community.

The Douglas/Elbert Task Force, "Task Force", endeavors to meet the immediate needs of residents of Douglas and Elbert County who are in financial distress and at risk of becoming homeless. The objective is to help them work through troublesome times with dignity. Services include: food and toiletries, funds for housing assistance, utility assistance, emergency overnight lodging, transportation, prescription and dental assistance, clothing and household items, referrals and information to other agencies and resources.
