Catholic Charities of Central Colorado

As the charitable arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, families and individuals come to Catholic Charities to begin their journey from crisis to stability, to weather the current storm, or to heal a broken spirit. Catholic Charities serves anyone in need regardless of religion, race, gender, age, disability, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, or background.

Elbert County Coalition Outreach (ECCO)

Anyone in a crisis situation qualifies for ECCO’s help. On a day-to-day basis, ECCO assists low-income residents in a number of ways. Through the storefront, ECCO provides clothing, shoes, household goods, etc. at low or no cost depending on the situation or need. Sales to every day shoppers looking for great deals provides ECCO with retail income that further helps the community.

Help & Hope Center

Help & Hope Center is a non-profit human service organization dedicated to providing assistance to people in Douglas and Elbert counties who are in serious economic need, at risk of homelessness, or in a similar crisis. We address immediate needs by consistently providing food and other necessities for homeless, low income, and financially fragile in our community.

Rotary Club of Castle Rock Task Force

The Douglas/Elbert Task Force, "Task Force", endeavors to meet the immediate needs of residents of Douglas and Elbert County who are in financial distress and at risk of becoming homeless. The objective is to help them work through troublesome times with dignity. Services include: food and toiletries, funds for housing assistance, utility assistance, emergency overnight lodging, transportation, prescription and dental assistance, clothing and household items, referrals and information to other agencies and resources.

FoodBank of Kiowa Creek Community Church

The FoodBank of Kiowa Creek Community Church reopened in early 2020 after a thorough renovation of our facilities and management. Our friendly and able staff welcome you to visit and tour our beautiful facility. Our new client choice grocery store-like facility that lets “YOU shop for what YOU want” is located on the main (middle) level of the Fellowship Hall.

Kiowa Lions Club

A local nonprofit organization, part of the Lions Clubs International network, dedicated to serving the community, with a primary focus on vision health. The club provides services such as eyeglasses, school vision screenings, and other community support initiatives, operating under the motto "We Serve."

Elbert County Early Childhood Council

The Elbert County Early Childhood Council (ECECC) is a collaborative organization dedicated to improving the health, education, and well-being of young children (prenatal to age eight) and their families in Elbert County. They connect families to community resources, support high-quality childcare, and facilitate early childhood professional development.

Centennial Mental Health Center (Elizabeth)

For over 40 years, Centennial Mental Health Center has provided compassionate and comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder services to the resilient, hard-working members of our northeastern Colorado community. We believe that seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength.

Horseback Miracles’ (HBM’s) mission is to create a unique environment where our participants have a chance to use all their abilities to think more rationally, make more socially acceptable decisions and receive hope for a successful and better life.

Developmental Pathways

A nonprofit organization, established in 1964, that supports over 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families across their lifespans. Serving Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties, and Aurora, it acts as a Community Centered Board (CCB) and Case Management Agency (CMA) for long-term care. DP facilitates essential services including Early Intervention (EI), Medicaid Waivers, and family support services.

The Blue Bench

The Blue Bench (formerly RAAP) is metro Denver’s only comprehensive sexual assault prevention and survivor support center. Through issue advocacy, scientifically-supported prevention programs and a robust offering of low to no-cost client services including a 24-hour hotline, individual and group therapy and case management, The Blue Bench has helped hundreds of thousands of Denver-area people find the courage to move from victim to survivor.
