Family Tree: SafeCare Program

Family Tree SafeCare® Colorado is a flexible, free in-home visiting program for families with at least one child in the home, five years of age or younger. The program offers three topics to choose from: Home Safety, Child Health and Parent-Child Interactions. Each topic can last six to eight visits. Families can choose to participate in one, two or all three of the topics. Family Tree SafeCare® works with families located within Adams and Jefferson counties.

Family Tree: Domestic Violence Services

Family Tree is the only organization in the region focusing on the interconnected issues of child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness. Domestic Violence Services keep survivors and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking safe through our crisis line, emergency shelter (Roots of Courage), safety planning, legal advocacy and linkages to community resources. All services are available in English and Spanish and we will work with those needing languages other than English and Spanish through utilizing interpretation services.

Night Lights is a non-profit organization providing free, monthly, inclusive respite care for children with special needs and their siblings (ages 1 month to 13 years). Operating in multiple cities across the state, it offers safe, volunteer-staffed, and nurse-supported evenings (6:30–10 PM) for children, allowing parents a needed break.
