Peaceful Birth Company

We believe that every birthing person is entitled to high quality birth education and support. This is why we offer sliding scale and payment plans to anyone who needs it. In addition, we are deeply passionate about community and connection, creating safe and welcoming spaces for this unique time in your life. At PBC, we offer weekly public meetups, a free community nursery, a breastmilk donation program, a lending library, and a host of experienced birth workers to help guide you through the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. No one should go through this season alone. Consider us your village.

OUR Center

OUR Center in Longmont, CO, is a comprehensive Family Resource Center that empowers low-income families within the St. Vrain Valley School District to achieve self-sufficiency. They provide essential services, including a community cafe, food market, clothing, and housing/utility assistance, plus early childhood education through the Aspen Center for Child Development.

La Cocina

La Cocina is a Latinx-founded, Latinx-serving, and Latinx-led mental health agency. La Cocina provides full access to traditional and nontraditional forms of mental health and health equity support services for the Latinx immigrant community. These services include culturally attuned Spanish-language behavioral & mental health services, immigrant-led community peer-supports, and forensic mental health assessments. Offered at no cost, all La Cocina services are available to any/all Spanish-speaking persons demonstrating financial need.

Our team has extensive training in: Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy or Premarital Enhancement, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness & Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Play Therapy.

Alternatives to Violence

Working toward a safe community free from domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Alternatives to Violence provides shelter, advocacy, education and resources for people impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Since 1982, Alternatives to Violence has offered victims the opportunity to heal both emotionally and physically in a supportive environment. Each year, we provide emergency shelter, safety planning, advocacy, information and referrals to local resources to over 1,600 people.

Crossroads Safehouse

Crossroads provides trauma informed care to victims through advocacy and support. Its programs and services include our 24/7 crisis line, 24/7 emergency shelter, non-resident advocacy, domestic abuse response, legal advocacy, legal representation, rapid and transitional housing, prevention and education, and youth and bilingual advocacy.
