Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado

Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado (CCSoCo) is a bold organization striving to help individuals, families, and communities across southern Colorado flourish and reach their full potential. Our philosophy is to address the most immediate needs first and then make the appropriate referrals to other programs (internal or external) to continue supporting people on their path toward opportunity and thriving. As such, our programs fall into three main categories: Prevention & Stabilization, Family Strengthening, and Opportunity Building.

Colorado CASA

Court Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers who advocate for children involved in the child welfare system. CASA volunteers are recruited, trained, and supervised by local CASA nonprofits. Many of these local CASA organizations offer additional services to families and children to further our common mission of giving all children in Colorado the opportunity to thrive.

Community Tool Box

The Community Tool Box is a free, online resource for those working to build healthier communities and bring about social change. It offers thousands of pages of tips and tools for taking action in communities. Want to learn about community assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, advocacy, and other aspects of community practice? Then help yourself to over 300 educational modules and other free tools. Under continuous development since 1994, the Community Tool Box is widely used in teaching, training, and technical support. Currently available in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Farsi, and with millions of user sessions annually, it has reached those working in over 230 countries around the world.

Family Resource Center Association

The Family Resource Center Association (FRCA) of Colorado strengthens families by supporting a network of community-based centers that offer comprehensive, wraparound services to promote self-reliance. FRCA provides training, advocacy, and a shared data system (CFSA 2.0) to over 25 member centers, helping them serve families with housing, education, and health needs.

Futures Without Violence

Futures Without Violence (FUTURES) is a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and stalking. Founded in 1980 as the Family Violence Prevention Fund and renamed in 2011, the organization works globally to create safe homes, healthy families, and communities free from violence through innovative programs, public education campaigns, and policy advocacy.

Kiowa Lions Club

A local nonprofit organization, part of the Lions Clubs International network, dedicated to serving the community, with a primary focus on vision health. The club provides services such as eyeglasses, school vision screenings, and other community support initiatives, operating under the motto "We Serve."

Manna Resource Center

Manna Resource Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization that was incorporated to strengthen individuals and families in Douglas and Arapahoe Counties, and the surrounding area through programs that provide holistic care and support in the areas of self-sufficiency, wellness, and family development.

The One Love Foundation

The One Love Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, aiming to prevent relationship abuse. Founded in memory of Yardley Love, it uses film-based workshops, such as "Escalation," to teach, empower, and train students to recognize warning signs and foster safer relationships.
