African Community Center

The African Community Center of Denver (ACC) is a non-profit refugee resettlement agency whose mission is to help refugees and immigrants rebuild safe, sustainable lives in Colorado. We conduct educational and social service programs that help newcomers rebuild their lives in their new community, navigate U.S. systems and cultures, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and become confident, thriving, integrated members of society. 

Center for African American Health

As an Enrollment Center for Connect for Health Colorado, our health enrollment program can assist with coverage options from Medicaid, Child Health Plan Plus, ACA Plans and Tax Credits, and OmniSalud, specifically for undocumented individuals and families.

Colorado Black Health Cooperative

The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) is a 501c3, nonprofit organization that has a long history of providing programs that improve the health and wellness in our Black/African American communities through collaborations, partnerships, and teaming arrangements with community-based organizations, other nonprofits, public organizations, private entities, government agencies, and individual community members that help create social connectedness and increase health resources for our marginalized Black/African American community members. Our mission is simply to achieve health equity in Colorado’s Black community through the dismantling of healthcare and access impediments that have served as historical barriers for many in achieving optimal health outcomes, especially for many Black/African American communities.

Soul2Soul Sisters

Founded in 2015 during a time of deadly encounters between Black people and law enforcement and the subsequent rise of the Movement for Black Lives, Co-Founders Rev. Tawana Angela Davis, Ph.D. and Rev. Dr. Dawn Riley Duval birthed Soul 2 Soul Sisters to be a Black Women-led, faith-based response to anti-Black violence in the United States of America. Today, our organization is evolving and thriving as we work to honor and protect Black Women, femmes, and gender expansive beloved"s lives, loves, decisions, families, communities, and futures.

UCCS: MOSAIC Department

The UCCS MOSAIC department (Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness, and Community) supports underrepresented students, including first-generation, LGBTQ+, and students of color, through advocacy, community-building, and education. Established in 2003, it offers mentorship, resources, and leadership development—including the MOSAIC Scholars Program—to promote equity and a welcoming campus climate.
