Blue Horizon Therapy

Comprehensive Services for youth with an identified disability such as autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, Down Syndrome, developmental delays; services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology services and educational tutoring. Hours include after-school and Saturdays. Accepts most major insurance including Medicaid.

Grace Counseling

Grace Counseling is a comprehensive mental health agency offering faith-based and professional therapy for individuals, couples, and families as well as learning disability evaluations and psychological testing. With a large team of licensed clinicians and doctoral-level psychologists, they provide specialized care for trauma, anxiety, addiction, and family issues.

Handprints Therapies

At Handprints Therapies, we are pleased to offer a unique, interdisciplinary model of therapy services. These services include “ABA” (Applied Behavior Analysis) and “SPOT” (Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy). This interdisciplinary model provides a collaborative, comprehensive, and cohesive therapy experience, which cultivates an optimal learning environment that encompasses all areas of your child’s development.

The Care Compact

The Care Compact (TCC) is an enhanced care coordination program that links existing case management and care coordination service providers. It is offered through Douglas County and a network of dedicated community partners. The Care Compact supports individuals with mental health, substance use disorder or intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) needs. The Care Compact is specifically designed to serve adults involved in multiple systems who have complex and overlapping needs.

Developmental Pathways

A nonprofit organization, established in 1964, that supports over 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families across their lifespans. Serving Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties, and Aurora, it acts as a Community Centered Board (CCB) and Case Management Agency (CMA) for long-term care. DP facilitates essential services including Early Intervention (EI), Medicaid Waivers, and family support services.

Night Lights

Night Lights is a non-profit organization providing free, monthly, inclusive respite care for children with special needs and their siblings (ages 1 month to 13 years). Operating in multiple cities across the state, it offers safe, volunteer-staffed, and nurse-supported evenings (6:30–10 PM) for children, allowing parents a needed break. Because the safety of the children is paramount, we run nationwide background checks on staff and volunteers and require families to fill out annual paperwork.

Nurturing Newborns Respite Care

Nurturing Newborns, LLC currently has 18 respite care providers that work in the homes of families caring for an infant or toddler with delays, disabilities, serious illness, or complications of prematurity. They provide part-time support for parents and caregivers so that they can pause, practice self-care, and seek mental health support.

Autism Society Colorado

The Autism Society of Colorado"s online peer support group is a welcoming space for individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and partners, friends, coworkers, and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and find support. Through virtual meetings, participants can engage in open discussions, exchange advice, and build a sense of community with others who understand their journey. We recognize that connections can happen both online and in person, and while our groups are virtual, some participants may choose to continue connections outside of ASC peer groups in ways that feel safe and comfortable for them. Moderated by peer-led facilitators, our groups are designed to be inclusive, respectful, and supportive– where participants are encouraged to explore challenges, communicate together, celebrate successes, and share helpful resources in a space that prioritizes understanding and accessibility.
