Participation in the program is a long term commitment (between 1-2 years) and requires active participation and progress towards your long-term goals. SB251 Driver’s Licenses For All

Through the law SB251, driver licenses are available to everyone in Colorado, including undocumented Coloradans. Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) provides resources and training to organizations around the state who support community members to prepare the necessary documents and access an appointment to obtain a driver’s license.

CU-Boulder’s Immigration Defense Clinic

Student attorneys in Professor Chapin’s legal Clinic at CU Law defend immigrants in a wide variety of legal matters, specializing at the nexus of criminal and immigration law. Professor Chapin and her students appear in both state and federal court on behalf of noncitizen clients, and also file affirmative immigration applications including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) petitions. The Clinic operates on the academic schedule and typically takes cases during the academic calendar, from August-May.
