UCCS: MOSAIC Department
The UCCS MOSAIC department (Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness, and Community) supports underrepresented students, including first-generation, LGBTQ+, and students of color, through advocacy, community-building, and education. Established in 2003, it offers mentorship, resources, and leadership development—including the MOSAIC Scholars Program—to promote equity and a welcoming campus climate.

Denver Indian Family Resource Center
DIFRC’s mission is to strengthen vulnerable AI/AN children and families through collaborative and culturally responsive services. DIFRC achieves this by providing family services and community programs to families who self-identify as AI/AN in the Denver metro area. Additionally, DIFRC provides Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) advocacy to support reunification efforts for families who are involved in the child welfare system.

StrongHearts Native Helpline
StrongHearts Native Helpline is a 24/7, confidential, and free, culturally appropriate service dedicated to Native American and Alaska Natives impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Founded in 2017, it provides peer support, personalized safety planning, and referrals to Native-centered service providers, focusing on restoring power through safety and sovereignty.
Native American Talking Circle
Native American Services is a program for all Indigenous Peoples from a wide spectrum of Tribal Nations seeking support, recovery, and connection to culture, including those who may have little or no concept of their history or traditions.
