They support bereaved families with free, virtual support groups and promote prevention by funding research, holding summits, and educating healthcare professionals on stillbirth risk factors.

The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado

The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado is dedicated to meeting the needs of bereaved members of the community regardless of cultural and/or religious beliefs, manner of death, relationship to the deceased, and ability to pay. Our bereavement services are for adults, teens, children and families.

They are also available to provide individual and family counseling to those who have lost a family member on TRU’s hospice services.

We strive to be a beacon of hope and support for families navigating the devastating journey of pregnancy and infant loss, providing refuge and guidance as they learn to live in the wake of their child’s death. Walk With Me’s comprehensive services include: Keepsake Kits, Parent & Sibling Care Packages, Individual & Family Counseling, Funeral & Burial/Cremation Assistance, Remembrance Gifts, Grief Support Groups & Events, Compassion Family Partnerships & Advocacy, and Hospital & Medical Staff Training.

Warm Hearts Warm Babies

Warm Hearts Warm Babies is a group of volunteers that help to make life easier for Colorado’s tiniest citizens and their families. We sew, knit, crochet, and quilt for premature infants and babies in need. We craft layettes for brand-new mothers with our made creations and donate to hospitals, crisis pregnancy centers, and shelters across much of the state of Colorado. All of our gifts are donated free of charge and 100% of what we receive in donations goes to help the babies.

Adams State University Colorodo

The Higher Education Administration and Leadership (HEAL) program prepares higher education professionals to manage and lead in institutions of higher education, especially Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and to enhance the success of the students they serve. Adams State’s Master of Arts and post-graduate Executive Leadership Certificate offer cohort-based, experiential learning in an online environment. These flexible programs are designed for the working professional. The M.A. program is a two-year program and the Executive Leadership Certificate (ELC) is a one-year, post-graduate program. Both have two residencies—an orientation and a Leadership Summit—which provide networking and mentoring opportunities for our students.

Convivir Colorado

We are a leadership program – for immigrant, refugee, and first-generation 6th – 12th-grade youth from any nationality and with any immigration status – that helps them channel their leadership through the lens of their migrant journey so they can strengthen their sense of self and continue practicing agency as they make a positive impact on their Colorado communities.
