Inside Out Youth Services

At Inside Out Youth Services, we are dedicated to providing quality programs and services to LGBTQIA2+ youth in Colorado Springs and the surrounding counties. Our wide range of offerings includes support groups, mentoring opportunities, educational workshops, and social activities, designed to meet the unique needs of LGBTQIA2+ youth and young adults at all stages of their journey.

Movement Advancement Project

Movement Advancement Project is a non-profit organization that provides independent, data-driven research and analysis to advance LGBTQ equality and democracy. They publish reports on policy, legal equality, and social issues, offering insights to support movement leaders, policymakers, and the public in ensuring equality and safety for all people.

MSU LGBTQ Student Resource Center

The LGBTQ Student Resource Center is a tri-institutional office on the Auraria Campus serving the students, faculty and staff of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Community College of Denver and University of Colorado Denver. We are available to all Auraria students as a resource for exploring issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Queer Asterisk

Queer Asterisk is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides queer-informed counseling, education, and community programs for LGBTQIA+ and gender-expansive people. Run by queer and transgender professionals, it focuses on providing affordable, affirming mental health care—including therapeutic services and peer mentorship—to foster individual and collective healing.

Rainbow Alley

Rainbow Alley is a safe, brave space where LGBTQ youth (ages 10-17) and their allies find support and acceptance. We provide events and activities, counseling and support groups, health services and life skills—all in a warm and welcoming environment. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.

The Alexander Foundation

The Alexander Foundation is a Denver-based, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1981 that supports Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community. It provides financial assistance through education scholarships, emergency grants for basic needs, and assistance for catastrophic illnesses.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place (TGP) provides low-barrier, trauma-informed care to women, gender-diverse people, and children facing homelessness and instability. We address the root causes of poverty, marginalization, and oppression, offering comprehensive services that guide our members from crisis to stability. With access to basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing, as well as long-term support such as housing assistance and mental health care, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives—all at no cost to those we serve.

Trans Health Project

The Trans Health Project, an initiative of Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE), aims to expand access to quality, gender-affirming care by educating individuals on their legal rights, fighting for insurance coverage, and tackling systemic healthcare discrimination. It drives policy change, enforces legal protections, and provides resources for navigating care.

Children’s Hospital Colorado: TRUE Center for Gender Diversity

At the TRUE Center for Gender Diversity at Children’s Hospital Colorado, we’re here to support you on your journey, whatever that may be. This is a safe space. We specialize in helping our patients achieve the gender expression that’s right for them. We understand the medicines and medical concerns that gender transitions involve, but we also understand the emotional challenges of gender diversity. In short, we speak your language.
