Comitis Crisis Center, located on the edge of the Fitzsimmons campus, offers a variety of programs supporting individuals on their recovery journey—from trauma, mental health and substance use challenges, and housing instability. Three- to six-month short-term shelter for eligible families receiving Colorado Works (TANF) through Arapahoe County. A monthly emergency shelter for adults, ages 18+ and LGBTQA+ affirming supportive services.

Adams County Human Services

The Child, Adult, and Family Division is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of children/youth in a permanent family home. This division can assist with abuse and neglect allegations, family reunification, foster and kinship care, adoption, guardianship and permanency.  The Workforce & Business Center provides employment resources, training and career opportunities. Boulder Vet Center

Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers that provide a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional counseling to eligible Veterans, service members, including National Guard and Reserve components, and their families. Counseling is offered to make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military to include military sexual trauma (MST). Individual, group, marriage and family counseling is offered in addition to referral and connection to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief and transition after trauma.
