Helen M. McLoraine Foster Care and Emancipated Youth Scholarship

This scholarship provides scholarships for youth who were in the foster care system for at least 12 months between the ages of 0-18 years of age and are pursuing post-secondary education.

Dondiego Family Youth Scholarship Fund

The National Foster Parent Association (NFPA) Dondiego Family Youth Scholarship provides competitive $500 awards to high school seniors or GED recipients (ages 17–21) connected to foster care. Applicants must have a parent/guardian who is an NFPA member. Eligible youth include those in foster, kinship, or adoptive care, as well as biological children of foster families.

Denver Chafee Foster Care Independence Program

The Denver Chafee Foster Care Independence Program supports youth (aged 14+) transitioning out of foster care toward independence. It provides resources on housing, education, employment, life skills, and financial aid, along with a "Guide to Adulthood" and community connections for young adults in the Denver area.

The One Love Foundation

The One Love Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, aiming to prevent relationship abuse. Founded in memory of Yardley Love, it uses film-based workshops, such as "Escalation," to teach, empower, and train students to recognize warning signs and foster safer relationships.

Love Is Respect is a national resource dedicated to preventing unhealthy relationships and dating violence among young people through education, support, and advocacy. It provides 24/7 confidential help via text, phone, or chat, offering resources on healthy boundaries, safety planning, and identifying warning signs of abuse.

Safe2Tell Colorado

Safe2Tell Colorado is a secure, anonymous reporting system that allows students, parents, and community members to report safety concerns—such as bullying, threats, or violence—to prevent tragedies. Operating under the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, it provides a 24/7 hotline, mobile app, and website, bridging communication between tipsters and local law enforcement/school officials.

Sources of Strength

Sources of Strength is a research-validated, upstream suicide prevention and mental health promotion program. It empowers diverse peer leaders, paired with adult advisors, to foster connection and resilience, changing social norms through campaigns focused on eight protective factors—such as family support, positive friends, and healthy activities—to stop distress before crises occur.

North Littleton Promise

North Littleton Promise builds life giving relationships with immigrant kids and families to foster faith, education, and leadership in Christ-centered community. We provide after-school clubs, summer programs, and soccer teams for elementary, middle, and high school students, plus faith, education, and leadership opportunities for the whole family.

Rainbow Alley
