With more than 80 scholarship funds available through The Denver Foundation, our scholarships support graduating high school seniors, college students (undergraduate and graduate), trade/vocational students, and non-traditional students.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Money Smart for Young People features four free age-appropriate curricula that promote financial understanding and are specifically designed for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade educators.

Colorado Universal Preschool

All children in Colorado can register for up to one year, of 15 hours of tuition-free, high-quality preschool in their year before kindergarten, as defined by your local school district, through Colorado’s Universal Pre-K (UPK) Program.

Waterford.org is a national early education nonprofit that provides research-backed PreK through 2nd grade reading, math, and science programs that children can use wherever they learn. Whiz Kids offers one-to-one tutoring, positive mentoring relationships and spiritual nurture to students below the literacy and poverty lines with the Spirit of Christ.

Work Options

Work Options is a Denver-based nonprofit that empowers individuals facing employment barriers by providing free, hands-on culinary job training, professional development, and 12 months of support services. The program focuses on building confidence and skills for long-term, stable careers in the restaurant and hospitality industries.

Center for Work Education & Employment

The Center for Work Education and Employment (CWEE) is Denver’s leading workforce development agency and has been helping unemployed and under-employed low-income parents obtain long-term, quality employment since 1982. Throughout 42 years of service, CWEE has learned that workforce development is as much about personal well-being as it is about professional preparation. To create an environment that serves as a catalyst for change, CWEE provides essential supports for low-income, career seeking parents that extends beyond traditional workforce development models to include holistic support to meet participants’ needs.

Centro San Juan Diego

As a Ministry of the Archdiocese of Denver, Centro San Juan Diego promotes the common good of the Hispanic community through education, family support, integration and leadership formation. Class offerings include ESL, Computer, GED, Family Support, Bible, and Citizenship. Legal Night offered twice a month along with Tax Preparation.

CDLE: Colorado Youth Employment Opportunity Act
