CO4Kids

CO4Kids is the Colorado Department of Human Services’ statewide initiative to provide awareness about Colorado’s child welfare system. It focuses on educating the public about the signs of child abuse and neglect, while raising awareness about the Hotline (844-264-5437) to report concerns related to a child or youth. CO4Kids also strives to strengthen families as a means of preventing abuse and neglect from happening in the first place, helping all Colorado kids have a safe environment. Finally, the campaign is committed to recruiting and retaining foster and adoptive parents, so that when an out of home placement is unavoidable, a child has a safe place to thrive.

Colorado Black Health Cooperative

The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) is a 501c3, nonprofit organization that has a long history of providing programs that improve the health and wellness in our Black/African American communities through collaborations, partnerships, and teaming arrangements with community-based organizations, other nonprofits, public organizations, private entities, government agencies, and individual community members that help create social connectedness and increase health resources for our marginalized Black/African American community members. The official, secure mobile app for the State of Colorado, allowing residents to store a Digital ID, vehicle registration, and insurance cards in a digital wallet. It facilitates state services like DMV renewals, fishing licenses, and tax lookup, while enabling secure, touchless, or, for some, in-person, identification checks.

ELK

ELK (Environmental Learning for Kids) is a Denver-based, 501(c)3 organization established in 1996 by two wildlife biologists who saw a growing need to educate Colorado’s underrepresented youth about science, math, leadership, and career opportunities. ELK was founded with the belief that all young people deserve strong educational support, good role models, and opportunities for positive community action in order to become engaged, productive, and successful members of society.

Cultural Development & Wellness Center Victims Assistance

Previously a program of Asian Pacific Development Center (APDC), the Cultural Development & Wellness Center Victims Assistance program provides support to victims and witnesses of crime throughout the entire state of Colorado. Services include: crisis counseling, emergency housing, case management, social services, legal and personal advocacy, victim compensation funds, and help applying for financial services.
