College Opportunity Fund
The College Opportunity Fund (COF) is a trust fund created by the Colorado Legislature that provides a tuition stipend to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend pays a portion of your total in-state tuition when you attend a participating college. You can read the Colorado law (statute) that governs this program by clicking on "COF Legal Info" at the bottom of the COF homepage.
Colorado Asset & DACA
Colorado resident students who are eligible under the Colorado Advancing Students for a Stronger Economy Tomorrow (ASSET) Bill or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) can received grant or work-study assistance towards in-state tuition at Colorado colleges.

CHDE: FosterEd
The FosterEd program pays for the total cost of attendance for qualifying students who attend public institutions of higher education within Colorado. This state-funded program pays for the remaining balance of the total cost of attendance after scholarships, grants, and other financial aid awards have been applied. To qualify for this program, students must have been in foster care or in non-certified kinship care in Colorado on or after their 13th birthday. If you believe you are eligible for this program, notify the financial aid office at your institution or contact one of our Postsecondary Options Navigators.

Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) is an evidence-based home visiting program that helps parents prepare their 2, 3, 4 and 5-year old children for success in school and throughout life. Using curriculum, story books and other materials, parents strengthen their children’s cognitive, literacy, social/emotional and physical development. HIPPY strengthens both communities and families by empowering parents to play an active role in preparing their children for school.

Justice Engaged Students Colorado
Justice Engaged Students Colorado (JES-CO) focuses on increasing high school graduation rates for youth involved in the justice system by removing barriers and supporting their educational path. Through HB24-1216, Colorado established a "bill of rights" for these students, including a statewide hotline, mandatory re-enrollment, and personalized graduation plans.

Mental Health First Aid Colorado
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This eight-hour training gives individuals the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to somone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem adn help connect them to the appropriate care. To date, more than 75,000 Coloradans have been trained in MHFA.

Colorado Universal Preschool
All children in Colorado can register for up to one year, of 15 hours of tuition-free, high-quality preschool in their year before kindergarten, as defined by your local school district, through Colorado’s Universal Pre-K (UPK) Program.

Helen M. McLoraine Foster Care and Emancipated Youth Scholarship
This scholarship provides scholarships for youth who were in the foster care system for at least 12 months between the ages of 0-18 years of age and are pursuing post-secondary education.
